We put up a great effort against the Mean Greens last Friday, holding them to a tie score until the last 10 minutes! Terry put in two excellent halves at goal, while Luke, Adam and Aaron each put one in for our side. Karlie, Ryan and Tony rounded out our offense with great assists, and Alli and Melissa shut down the opposing team’s attempts on goal with authority. 

The Pill Pushers put forth the effort in a late night sparring match with archenemies the Frogs. Our offense had several spectacular shots on goal, and our defense, especially Jeff, put up a terrific fight. Congratulations to all for a great game!

On another note, I will be calling Keva next week to find out what their level of play is like for the next season. I think a move is imminent. Otherwise, maybe changing to another winter sport is possible? Please leave comments and suggestions below.

Would anyone be interested in moving to Keva during the next session? The cost is the same, and the number of games are the same. I don’t know what the level of play is like, however. Please leave your thoughts and comments below.

The Pill Pushers played their first game of the fall season Wednesday night. They usually play Friday nights, but with increased demand, the league was forced to schedule a few games other nights of the week. Despite having only half of the team be able to play on Wednesday, the team put up a good fight against High Expectations, a team with more than twice as many players. The Pill Pushers lost 6-1, with great defense keeping the score close most of the game. Terry Donovan scored the goal early in the second half. Way to go, Terry!
